May 2, 2013 – San Diego, CA – Entra Health Systems, an international software and wireless health care company, today announced an agreement with Healthx to integrate Entra Health’s MyHealthPoint™ cloud-based platform with Healthx’ payer platform that is currently in use by more than 130 payor clients.

MyHealthPoint is a comprehensive health and wellness management toolkit including portals for patients, caregivers and clinicians, mobile applications, electronic health record interfaces and advanced data analytics and visualization. The MyHealthPoint platform helps improve user health by better managing wellness goals, automatically collecting remote biosensor information and providing comprehensive care team communications.

Healthx selected MyHealthPoint because it provides a series of proactive population management tools to providers and payors in a cost effective software-as-a-service model used by both companies. MyHealthPoint provides online logging, automated alerts and reminders and a clinical dashboard that triages the entire patient population. Solutions are included for health and wellness as well as disease states such as diabetes, CHF and COPD.

MyHealthPoint is fully integrated with major mobile operating systems including Android, iOS and Windows Phone. This allows the smartphone or tablet to gather, display and update a wide variety of health data points. Demonstrated results include reduced costs, improved outcomes and an increase in the overall quality of care.

“We are very excited to partner with Entra to transform the methods used in managing health, wellness and chronic disease,” said Greg Bell, CEO of Healthx. “MyHealthPoint complements our platform and provides a data centric approach to healthcare tools, effectively providing innovative solutions for population health management.”

This agreement is among several recent milestones for Entra Health Systems. Since inventing the world’s first CE and FDA approved Bluetooth-enabled blood glucose meter over six years ago, the company has expanded its regulatory approvals to fifty countries worldwide. The company has also launched a number of important partnerships and clinical trials, which have recognized their device as one of the most accurate personal diabetic care products on the market today.

“Service providers and payors seeking personalized features and secure, cloud-based access have come to choose the MyHealthPoint platform above others,” said Richard Strobridge, CEO of Entra Health Systems. “Our goal is to continue to provide our partners and end users with flexible, cutting edge tools to enhance health data analytics and careteam communications.”
